Location
Rancho Cali Aussies is located in Northern California, in the Coastal Santa Cruz Mountains. In between San Jose/Los Gatos and Santa Cruz,! Halfway up Highway 17, off of the Summit Road exit, deep into the mountain. On the outskirts of the busy Bay Area! About 45 minutes away from the actual town of Los Gatos, San Jose, Santa Cruz, and Watsonville. It is a very rural area but it is the perfect place to raise Australian Shepherds!
Health Standards
We breed both Standard and Mini Australian Shepherds. We also keep tails on all of our puppies! Our Aussies are very much loved and receive lots of love, attention, and training. We strive to breed healthy, fun, loving, smart dogs with great temperaments and low to medium drives. All of our dogs are genetically health tested to ensure that our puppies are free from genetic disease and are also Penn-Hip tested so our puppies can be the healthiest they can be!
Our Ranch
We live on a 20-acre ranch in the middle of the Coastal Santa Cruz Mountains. Surrounded by Redwoods and Oak trees, full of dirt and hiking trails, and even a creek that runs through our property. This is a dogs dream come true. Our dogs get to enjoy playing outside with us all day, playing in the creek, and going hiking everyday to get their daily exercise. Aside from our Aussies, we also have 1 LGD, about 60 chickens, 2 cats, and 2 horses.
Our Pets
Our dogs are our pets! We love them and ensure that their health, safety, and well being are a priority. They are treated with respect and are showered with love all day. They come into the house to hang out with us and follow us around outside doing our daily chores on the ranch. The only time they are in crates is when we are gone and at night.
Form of Contact
Since we live in such a rural area, we have NO cell reception. Which makes form of contact a little more difficult, but we DO have Internet! I can reply to you through email, Facebook, and Instagram. If you have an iPhone, I also receive text messages through iMessage. I also have WhatsApp, which is an app that allows me to use my personal cell phone number to text message, call, and video call anybody through it. It is probably the most convenient form of communication for me. If you don’t have either of these methods to contact me and would rather talk over the phone, you are welcome to leave a voicemail to my cell phone, and I will gladly return your call as soon as I leave my house and your voicemail comes through.
